Cyclo (DVD)

Vietnamese film; The story is set in modern day Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. A young man works as a cyclo. He lives with his relatives in a poor neighborhood. When someone steals his bike-his only means of making a living-the young man is forced to commit acts of sabotage and gets caught up in a spiral of crime. Easy money and the impunity of his actions make him want to join the gang run by the poet. By sheer coincidence, the poet is already pimping the cyclo's elder sister...This film's won the Golden Lion Award at the Venice Film Festival under the best film category.
