All Things Fair (DVD)

All Things Fair takes place in Maimo 1943. When Stig meets his new teacher, Viola, his life changes radically. The fact that she is 37 and Stig is 15 and that she is his teacher make their affair complicated, but not impossible. Viola is married to Kjell, who is a salesman dealing ladies' underwear. Kjell is not the faithful kind of husband, and therefore Viola regards her present actions as completely Justified. Maybe the fact that Kjell drinks a lot, makes him less alert to his wife's new love life. The daughter of the next door neighbour to Stig. Libet. is secretly in love with Stig and she gets more and more frustrated by the fact that Stig doesn't seem to notice her. The whole affair is becoming more and more dangerous for both of them, especially Viola, who risks everything. One day. however. Stig realizes that love does exist in the shape of someone his own age Viola lets Stig pay dearly for his realization..
